Bermuda Paralympian Jessica Lewis’ 2022 season got underway by competing in the Mississauga 2022 Ontario Parasport Track Meet.
Lewis won the T53 Women’s 100m clocking 16.96, she would then win the T53 Women’s 200m with a time of 30.98, neither time would count towards her ranking unfortunately as they were both run-in over legal wind conditions.
Lewis said to www.islandstats.com, “I’m feeling excited about the season, the race was on a slower track surface for us so I’m happy with the times and looking forward to seeing how I do on a better surface in the races I have in Switzerland, Paris and Vancouver end of May to end of June.”
