The group stage of the 2022 CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Championship in the Dominican Republic came to a close with the finals in Group F on the docket.
A place in the Round of 16 from Group F was at stake when the host nation the Dominican Republic took on Bermuda at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo at 8 pm.

In the end, the spoils belonged to the Dominican Republic, who picked up a 5 - 0 win. Julia Jimenez and Renata Mercedes each scored twice, with Jimenez scoring in the 3rd and 52nd minutes, while Mercedes got her goals in the 10th and 87th minutes. Also joining the duo on the scoresheet was Ariana Diaz in the 61st minute.
The win was also the first CWU17 victory ever for the Dominican Republic.
