www.islandstats.com caught up with Premier Burt to discuss the recent success that we have had in Sports with the Women taking center stage.
As we all know the Bermuda Women’s National Field Hockey team qualified for the CAC Games over the weekend, Maha Clarke was named the Tournament MVP.
But a special mention must go to National team player Jennifer Chisnall.
Chisnall played two of the three matches in the tournament, she played against Jamaica in Bermuda’s first match, she then missed the match against Guyana as she was married that day, but she returned to the pitch during her honeymoon yesterday to help seal the top spot for Bermuda.
