Za'Kayza Parsons, Caitlyn Bobb, and their UMBC Women's Track and Field teammates concluded the 2022 America East Championships in style, breaking two school records and one conference record on the final day of competition.
UMBC finished in fifth place in the conference with Bobb winning two events to lead the charge.
Bobb earned a pair of Gold Medals in the 200m and 400m. Bobb broke the UMBC Athletics and Bermuda National Indoor Record in the 400m running 53.50, also while winning the 200m in 24.23, Bobb broke Debbie Jones-Hunter’s longstanding National Indoor Record.
Parsons finished 18th in the Women’s 200m Preliminaries clocking 26.29.
