Jessica Lewis competed in the T53 Women's 100m Final at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo this morning.
Lewis lined up against Kelsey Lefevour (USA), Yen Hoang (USA), Gao Fang (China), Samantha Kinghorn (Great Britain), Zhou Zhou Hongzhuan (China), Angela Ballard (Australia), Catherine Debrunner (Switzerland), and Hamide Dogangun (Turkey).
Lewis got out of the start in fourth, and was able to maintain the position through the race clocking a time of 16.90, Gao Fang from China won the Gold Medal with a time of 16.29, Zhou Hongzhuan also from China claimed the Silver Medal clocking 16.48, and Samantha Kinghorn from Great Britain finished third winning the Bronze Medal with a time of 16.53.
