The Davis Cup by Rakuten Americas Group III event came to a close on Saturday and it was Jamaica and Guatemala who will leave Panama City on a high after earning promotion to Group II next year.
Bermuda took on Puerto Rico for 5th, and went down 2 – 0.
Trey Mallory for the first time in the tournament went down in his match, he would take on Inacio Garcia and go down in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.
Tariq Simons would next take to the court, he would fall as well to Quinton Vega in straight sets 6-4, 6-0.
The Bermuda Doubles pair of Gavin Manders and James Finnigan did not have to take to the court.
