Government's COVID Responds to Islandstats Questions

The Government held their regular scheduled Covid Press Conference, Premier David Burt, during the Q&A period, answered www.islandstats.com questions such as, “Why are we not issuing a quarantine order for 14 days to anyone who travels on the flights that the virus was captured on”?

The Premier, was also asked about the current situation of 16 years old and younger are not required to take the vaccine, “What is the plan for the Carifta Games as this major International event is planned for our shores in August and the requirement as it stands is if you are not vaccinated you are required to quarantine for 14 day’s”?

“What is the plan to control the crowds that will likely go on the water to watch the SailGP event, as we have yachts at the Hamilton Princess dock that will likely be out there as well as local boats, as, without some control, this could turn into a super spreader event”?

The Premier was asked, “There is a lot of speculation that once the SailGP event is over, the country will shut down, what can you say to the people of Bermuda to address this talk”?

And the final question was, “Will the parks and beaches be re-opened, and also what about individual sports getting back underway”?
