JUSTIN DONAWA

Justin Donawa’s Solihull Moors confirmed that a member of the first team has tested positive for Covid-19.

All backroom staff and players across the first team will self-isolate in line with public health guidance.

The club’s next three fixtures against FC Halifax Town (November 14th), Torquay United (November 17th), and Weymouth (November 21st) have all been postponed and will be rescheduled.

DALE EVE

Dale Eve and his Spennymoor teammates made a dream start on the road against Southport, taking the lead after just three minutes courtesy of Adam Blakeman’s first goal for the club.

After Jamie Spencer was caught by Russell Benjamin on the edge of the area, the full back’s free-kick took a wicked deflection and wrong-footed Southport goalkeeper Dan Handford.

Adam Anson, formerly of Chorley, almost scored a spectacular own goal but was fortunate to see the ball go behind for a corner instead of following a challenge on Ben McKenna.

From the resulting corner, a short pass was played to Scott McLean, and when Nathan Buddle headed his deep cross back into the six-yard box, Glen Taylor pounced to double Moors’ advantage.

Marcus Carver linked up with former Chorley teammate Matt Challoner before firing a near-post shot which Eve was forced to palm behind for a corner.

Despite a dominant performance, Eve’s first clean sheet as Spennymoors’ number one was under threat when Blakeman fouled Niall Watson in the area, but Eve confidently stopped David Morgan’s spot-kick to keep his side on course for victory.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD

Milan Butterfield and his Chesterfield teammates fell to a 2-1 defeat to Maidenhead United at the Technique Stadium, after leading through Scott Boden’s first-half volley.

Maidenhead United found an equalizer in the 55th minute. Sam Barratt floated a cross into the Chesterfield penalty which somehow found a way into the back of the net.

With 20 minutes to go, the visitors took the lead. An in-swinging corner from Josh Coley found the head of Barratt, who headed home from a tight angle.

TRISTAN HALL

Tristan Hall and his Holbaek Football Club teammates went down 2 – 0 to Frem in Denmark’s Division 2.

After a scoreless First Half, Paul Ngongo gave Frem the lead in the 76th minute, the lead was doubled in stoppage time when Lucas Balck scored.
