The www.islandstats.com report this morning that the 2020 Carifta Games in Bermuda was Postponed, was confirmed at a Press Conference this morning at AB Place.
Minister of Sports Lovitta Foggo and Bermuda National Athletics Association President Donna Raynor jointly held a Press Conference to make the announcement.
Raynor said, “After long discussions with Executive Board of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC), Bermuda Government, other countries in the Region, we have decided to Postponed the Games.”
“We are still anticipating hosting the 49th Carifta Games, but we are waiting to see what happens worldwide, before announcing a date at this time,” continued Raynor.
Minister Foggo said, “The Government stays committed and supportive of the Local Organizing Committee and President Raynor in this difficult time.”
