Nahki Wells new teammate Famara Diédhiou struck his tenth goal of the campaign to fire Bristol City to a 1-0 win over QPR at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
It was a top-drawer header in the 16th minute to secure City their fourth-consecutive win and clean sheet in the Sky Bet Championship.
Wells was well received when he came on as a second-half substitute to feature against his former team in the 63rd minute.
NATHAN TROTT
Nathan Trott was an unused substitute as his AFC Wimbledon teammates paid the price for a below-par first-half display at Accrington today.
AFC Wimbledon were 2-0 down at half-time in Lancashire and though Joe Pigott reduced the arrears after Accrington's Joe Pritchard had been sent off, the hosts held on for a 2-1 win.
REGGIE LAMBE
Reggie Lambe was an unused substitute as Cambridge United produced a gutsy late comeback with Andy Dallas and Harvey Knibbs scoring twice in the final five minutes to end their run of defeats in Sky Bet League Two with a 2-1 win over Colchester United.
MILAN BUTTERFIELD
Milan Butterfield and his Kidderminster teammates picked up a 2 – 0 win on the road against Kings Lynn Town.
Kidderminster got single strikes from Alex Prosser and Ashley Chambers.
JUSTIN DONAWA & OSAGI BASCOME
Justin Donawa played the entire 90 minutes, while Osagi Bascome was not in the Darlington team that lost their fourth home game of the season when they were beaten 3-0 at home by Guiseley -- which means that they drop out of the play off places.
It wasn't the best performance of the season by any means.
