NAHKI WELLS

Nahki Wells was a second half substitute as he and his Queens Park Rangers teammates fell to defeat on Boxing Day night, losing out by a single goal against Reading at Madejski Stadium.

John Swift’s stunning goal – an unstoppable strike from 25 yards – proved to be the difference between the two sides.

NATHAN TROTT

Second half goals from Marcus Forss and captain Joe Pigott completed a spirited second half turnaround for Nathan Trott and his Wimbledon teammates second away win of the season.

AFC Wimbledon moved five points clear of the drop zone and recorded only their second ever win at the Memorial Stadium with a 2-1 victory at Bristol Rovers, having fallen behind to a Jonson Clarke-Harris opener just before the break.

JONTE SMITH

Jonte Smith was not in the Cheltenham Town team that signed off from a memorable year at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium with a narrow defeat by Plymouth Argyle, only their third at home in the past 12 months.

Plymouth Argyle join Forest Green Rovers and Tranmere Rovers in the trio of teams to leave Whaddon Road with all the points, thanks to a first half goal by Argyle's exciting young striker Zak Rudden.

REGGIE LAMBE

Reggie Lambe was serving out his suspension as his Cambridge United teammates were out-classed by Sky Bet League Two’s leaders Swindon Town, who ran away 4-0 winners at the County Ground on Boxing Day.

An early Eoin Doyle penalty was followed by a hat-trick from Keshi Anderson, with Swindon Town a cut above United on the day.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD & KNORY SCOTT

Milan Butterfield played the 90 minutes, while Knory Scott was an unused substitute as Kidderminster defeated Hereford 3 – 1.

JUSTIN DONAWA & OSAGI BASCOME

Justin Donawa was a second half substitute, while Osagi Bascome was unused as their Darlington teammate Stephen Thompson finally equaled Allan Walsh's 35 year record when he scored their winner against Spennymoor.

Thompson grabbed the ball after Sean Reid was pulled down in the area, and smacked the ball past the Spennymoor keeper Mattie Gould for his 100th goal for the club going back seven years.

AMAR LEWIS

Amar Lewis was not in the Harlow Town team that fell 3 – 2 to Barking Football Club.
