Bermuda Olympian Tyler Butterfield has won the Ironman Cozumel and he did so in remarkable fashion.
Butterfield’s picked up the win in the second fastest time in Ironman History.
Butterfield who had words of encouragement for all the competitors yesterday was clocked across the line in a time of 7:44:01, he finished three minutes and eleven seconds ahead of the second place finisher Michael Weiss.
Butterfield a previous winner clocked a time of 42.11 on the Swim, he then clocked 4:19.11 on the Bike, before clocking a Record Breaking Marathon Run time for the Mexican Course of 2:38:29.
