The Winners Edge Mountain Biking Championships took place at Southlands with Robin Horsfield successfully defending his crown as Open Men’s National Champion, while Cassandra McPhee took the Open Women’s category, James Holloway won the Master's Men’s Division, Cameron Morris won the Junior Men’s and young Skye Ferguson was crowned the 2022 Junior Women National Champion. Horsefield clocked an Open Men’s seven-lap winning time of 56.41, Chris Nusum was second also completing seven laps with a time of 1:14.43, and McQuinn Burch finished third with a 6 lap time of 1:15.43.
A time of 48.02 saw McPhee complete 4 laps to the Open Women’s victory, Ashley Robinson was second also completing 4 laps in a time of 54.00, and Jennifer Lightbourne clocked a time of 57:53 to finish third completing 4 laps.
In the Master's Men’s Division 1, Holloway clocked a 5 lap winning time of 47.34, Hans Hirschi was second in 48.02 also completing 5 laps, and Kavin Smith was third with a 5 lap time of 48.21.
