Bermuda Riders Conclude Caribbean Championships

Bermuda riders concluded competing in the Pan American Cycling Championships.

The conditions were ideal for cycling and this was confirmed in the Mirador del Sur in the capital of Quito.

After 140 kilometers of constant escapes in the Men’s Under-23 race, in which a dozen places were offered for the Junior Pan American Games in Cali, Colombian Multisport Youth event.

Herbert Alejandro Gutiérrez clocked a winning time of 3:01:28, Dominican Jesús Roniel Marte and Mexican Ricardo Peña finished 2nd and third.

From four to eleven the Cuban Luis Ramírez, the Venezuelan José Andrés Díaz, the Guatemalan Sergio Geovani Chumil, the Bolivian José Maniel Aramayo, the Dominican Steven Polanco, the Chilean Gerald Scheining and the Bermudians Kaden Hopkins 10th and Conor White 11th fought their places.
