The Bermuda team set to compete in the 2021 Elite Caribbean Cycling Championships and the Pan American Road Race Championships has made it to Santo Domingo despite a few delayed flights, one wayward bike and the small matter of a tropical storm making an untimely arrival in the Dominican Republic.
Kaden Hopkins, Conor White and Nic Narraway will race in the Under 23 events while Caitlin Conyers will be the lone female competitor. Darren Glasford will be leading the team with support from Chequan Richardson as team mechanic.
The race schedule has been slightly amended to allow for late arrivals on Thursday, pushing the start of the Caribbean Cycling Championship Road Race to 2pm. The rest of the schedule currently remains unchanged with Time Trials on Friday and then the Under 23 Men and Elite Women racing for the Pan American Road Race title on Saturday.
