Kaden Hopkins was back in action competing in Stage Six of the National Independence Cyclistic Vuelta 2021. Hopkins covered the 130.9 KM Sixth Stage distance in a time of 3:03.26, to cross the line 8th.
Hopkins would finish 2 minutes and 45 seconds behind the Stage winner Edwin de Jesus Morel Garcia who clocked 3:03.41.
Hopkins the Under 23 Division Defending Champion, finished second in the Under 23 Division Stage, remains in third place overall in the Division, he is 1 minute and 16 seconds by leader Omar Antonio Ruiz Peralta.
Hopkins remains in 10th place overall with a time of 20:33.34, Klesmas Yurgen Ramirez, is the overall leader with a time of 20:24.21.
Robert Sierra has retaken the lead in the Points Division with 66, Hopkins is in second with 65 points, and Jonathan Ogando Reynoso is third with 63 points.
Hopkins and his Bermuda-Puerto Rico teammates are in 11th place overall as a team with an overall time of 62:02.46.
