Under clearing skies, Hog Bay Park hosted 56 racers in the second last points race for the Fat Tire Massive Mountain Bike Series.
With only one race to go, several positions are up in the air as the results are best 6 out of 7 races.
The muddy conditions made it less than stellar but the tight switchbacks dried a bit and became more rideable as the day cleared.
In the 13 to 16 Age Group Division, Enshe-Nico made it clear that he wasn’t going to let his mechanical issues from race 5 haunt him. He set a blistering pace and clocked a 7 lap time of 31:49.001, Gordon Smith was second clocking 32:49.307 and Rory Flemming was third clocking 33:06.400.
Zina Jones won the Female Open race covering 6 laps in a time of 33:07.245, Jennifer Lightbourne was second in 33:29.797 and Caroline Wright was third in 36:04.545.
The Open Male 60 minute race was won by Alexander Miller who clocked an 11 lap time of 1:05:27.378, Liam Flannery was second in 1:03:05.342 he completed 10 laps and Alan Potts finished third with a 10 lap time of 1:03:53.090.
