Cristopher Jurado conquers the fifth stage of Vuelta Ciclista as the 40th edition of the National Independence Cycle Tour continued in the Dominican Republic.
Kaden Hopkins was back in action and he covered the 156 kilometers in time of 3 hours, 22 minutes and 30 seconds.
Hopkins would finish in 33rd place at the conclusion of the fifth Stage.
Jurado, representative of the Central American team deployed great strength in the final kilometers to take the stage in 3:22:19, the Dominicans Geovanny García and Adrian Núñez occupied the second and third positions.
Hopkins is 77th overall after the Five Stages with a time of 12:34:57, 8 minutes and twenty-nine seconds behind the overall leader.
After completing the fifth stage, Robinson Chalapud, Team Medellín continues in the first position overall with a time of 12:26:28, second place is occupied by Oscar Sevilla 42 seconds back and Stephen Bakker is third and further 1 second behind.
