Jamie Cousins crossed the line first in the Bermuda Bicycle Association’s Road Race that saw participants compete on a course that started and finished at the T.N. Tatem Middle School.
But Cousins was not the winner, Darren Glasford was declared the winner. The race saw a Sprint Competition included as riders were award points for sprinting each lap.
Cousins edged out Adam Kirk at the line, Cousins was clocked at 1:52:16, with Kirk clocked at 1:52:17, Glasford was one of five riders to clock a time of 1:53:25, but he was declared the third place finisher.
But Glasford would stand on top of the podium in the A-B Division, with Cousins second and Fabian Schoenberg was third.
