The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s Presidents Cup race saw Dominique Mayho return to the winners circle, with Conor White just behind him, Darren Glasford, fifteen year old Alexander Miller and Alan Mooney rounded out the top five finishers.
Mahyo wearing the black and red stripe, but with new sponsor VT Construction on the front was clocked across the line in a time of 2:33:55, with White second in 2:33:59 and Glasford was third in 2:37:01.
Caitlin Conyers was the first female and sixth overall stopping the clock in a time of 2:37:06, with Cora Lee Starzomski finishing 11th overall and the second female finisher clocking 2:42:04 and Ashley Couper who was caught up in a crash clocked a time of 2:50:45 completing the Women’s podium.
Miller was the top Junior Male with a time of 2:37:02, with Ziani Burgesson and Nazarai Fox in second and third for the category with times of 2:42:13 and 2:42:13.
The crash in the peloton was near the Belmont Ferry on Harbour Road that slowed a pack of approximately 20 riders, several of whom hit the deck. One required medical treatment at the hospital but the others were able to finish, albeit in a scattered formation.
