Madelyn Moore and her University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Womenís Swimming teammates were back in the pool for the third of the four-day WAC Swimming Championships on Friday. UNC's gritty effort keeps them in third place with 338 points, trailing Northern Arizona by just 61 entering the final day of swimming.
A day after winning the Womenís 50 Yard Freestyle, junior Moore was back looking for another first-place medal in the Womenís 100 Yard Backstroke. Breaking her school record, Moore hit the wall at 54.66, which was good enough for third place on the evening.
Moore would lead off the Northern Colorado Womenís 400 Yard Medley Relay that capped the night off with its fastest time of the season finishing 4th in a time of 3:45.21.
