University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Swimming and Diving continued its academic excellence during the 2019-20 season with 13 student-athletes including Madelyn Moore earning Academic All-WAC honors announced by the conference.
Sophomore Moore, has competed in the World Junior Youth Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympics, World Championships and Pan American Games. Moore holds the 50 Meter Freestyle Bermuda Record, she also holds all the record in the 100 Meter Freestyle.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
Moore is currently majoring in criminology and criminal justice at UNC.
The Northern Colorado swimming and diving program currently has a streak of 16 straight semesters as a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association Scholar All-America team.
