Bermuda born Jade Hannah is continuing her preparation for competition that may or may not include the Olympics, this after the Canadian Olympic Committee and Canadian Paralympic Committee said on Sunday that they had taken "the difficult decision" to withdraw after consulting athletes, sports groups, and the Canadian government.
Hannah has met the A Standard for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games 100 Meter and 200 Meter Backstroke, but she if the competition was to go on would need to finish in the top two spot for Canada, she is currently ranked third.
Hannah is hoping that she can get back in the pool soon, as this is where she says she enjoys he time.
