Two Meet Carifta Championships Qualification Standards

The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association hosted a Long Course Carifta Swimming Championships Qualification Meet at the National Sports Center.
Marleigh Howes reached the qualifying time in the 11-12 Girls 100 LC Meter Freestyle for her second qualifying time for Carifta that makes her eligible for selection.
Howes finished second to Imojen Judd who clocked a time of 1:05.77, with Howes touching the wall in 1:07.82 and Juliette Smatt finished third in a time of 1:12.30.
Elena Pearman reached her first Carifta Qualifying Time in the 11-12 Girls 50 LC Meter Backstroke clocking a winning time of 35.68, Pearman then reached her second in the 11-12 Girls 100 LC Meter Backstroke, once again clocking a winning time of 1:19.15. Pearman’s two times now make her eligible for selection.
In the 13–14 Boys 50 LC Meter Freestyle Brandon Adkins clocked a winning time of 27.36, 2Flynn Watson-Brown was second clocking 28.29 and Harlan Watson-Brown touched the wall in a time of 28.72 to finish third.
