Daley's Back in Medal Action in Canada

Elan and Elijah Daley on Day Two took to the Etobicoke Olympium Pool to compete in the Age Group International Short Course Championships in Canada.

Elan Daley was competing in the 13-14 Girls Age Group and she would break the 100m Freestyle record of 57.49 held by Madelyn Moore set back on March 21st, 2015 when she clocked the fastest Preliminary time of 56.19.

Daley would go even faster in the 100m Freestyle Final clocking a Gold Medal time of 55.23.

Daley would capture the Bronze Medal competing in the 400m Freestyle when she was clocked in a time of 4:25.21.

Daley would capture the Gold Medal during the 100m Breaststroke with a time of 1:15.99, but it during the Preliminaries that she broke Jennifer Smatt’s 30 year old record of 1:15.09, when she was clocked in 1:14.35.

Elijah Daley finished 5th during the Boy’s 13-14 Age Group Division 400m Freestyle clocking a time of 4:22.61, he would finish 5th in the 200m Breaststroke final with a time of 2:37.51.

Daley did pick up a Medal on the day when he touched the wall in a time of 2:18.47 to finish third in the 200m Medley, the Medal was his third Bronze of the event.
