Round The Sound 2019 Records Established

Jake Mason Broke the 10K Record

A record number of entries a record broken as the 2019 Round the Sound Swimming Race took place. Jake Mason and Jacqueline Fasano were crowned the Male and Female 10K Champions, while Edouard Von Herberstein and Marissa Dressel are the Male and Female 4K Champions.

Jack Harvey and Taylor White are the 2K Male and Female champions and winning the title of Male and Female champions at the 0.8K distance was Brandon Adkins and Marleigh Howes.

Fifteen year old Mason broke the 10K Distance record held previously by four time winner Erik Soria, Mason crossed the line in a time of 2:11:45, Soria was second clocking 2:21:00 and Bob Tarr finished third in a time of 2:21:59.

Fasano was the 5th swimmer across the line clocking 2:30:59, Kasey Brough was the second female finisher and 8th overall with a time of 2:38:21 and finishing 15th overall was the third female finisher Denise Hui Bon Hoa with a time of 2:44:40.

At the 4K Distance Von Herberstein was clocked across the line in a time of 56:52:00, the second male finisher was third overall Samuel Wollner who clocked 59:53:00 and the third male finisher was 4th overall Justin Edmunds who was clocked at 1:00:11.

Dressel was second overall with a time of 57:16:00, the second female finisher crossed the line 5th overall Claire Singley who was clocked at 1:01:34 and the third female finisher was 7th overall Frances Stephenson who was clocked at 1:02:26.

Harvey clocked a winning 2K Distance time of 25:02:00, the second male finisher was 4th overall Kevin Insley clocked a time of 27:21:00 and finishing 7th overall was the third male finisher Robert Landriault who clocked 28:15:00.

White was second overall with a time of 25:27:00, Tayla Horan was third overall and the second female finisher with a time of 26:48:00 and the third female finisher was 5th overall Erin McIntyre who was clocked at 27:25:00.

Adkins won the 0.8K Distance crossing the line in a time of 11:05, the second male was third overall Zenji Damani who was clocked at 12:41 and finishing as the third male finisher was 5th overall Joseph Vallis who had a time of 13:10.

Howes crossed the line in a time of 12:30, the second female finisher was 4th overall Caitlin Coleman who clocked 12:51 and the third female finisher was 8th overall A. Pedro who clocked 13:52.
