Madelyn Moore has reached the B Final of the Women’s 50m Freestyle at the Pan American Games in Peru.
Swimming in Heat 4 of the Preliminaries, Moore touched the wall in a time of 26.79, which put her 15th overall and sees her into the B Final.
Jesse Washington finished 8th in the Men’s 50m Freestyle Heat 2 clocking a time of 23.92, Washington finished 25th overall.
Moore said, “I am pleased that I get this second swim, I did not reach my target of getting a personal best time, but another opportunity presents itself as I am in the final later tonight.”
Following her Swim in the Preliminaries, Moore took to the Pool in Peru for the Women’s 50m Freestyle B Final.
Moore would finish 6th touching the wall in a time of 26.52, which was two tenths of a second faster than her Preliminary Time.
