Bermuda born Jade Hannah showed her preparation is on pace as she won three finals while taking part in the Mel Zajac Jr. International.

Hannah has bigger goals in mind, as she continues to prepare for the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Hannah (High Performance Centre – Victoria) won the Women’s 100 Meter Backstroke in a time of 1:00.14. She also had victories in the Women's 200 Meters and 50 Meter Backstrokes.

“I’m very happy with my performance,” said the 17-year-old, who was named the top Female Junior Swimmer at the meet. “I feel like all the hard work I put in is finally paying off.

“It’s setting me up really well for world juniors in terms of racing back-to-back events. I’m really excited about junior worlds.”
