Three records were broken during Day Three of the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Associations 2019 Short Course Age Group Championships at the BASA Pool.
The Boy’s 15 & Over 200m Medley Relay team of Brett Smith, Jack Harvey, Zebedee Wakely and Caleb Ingham representing the Harbour Amateur Swim Club clocked a time of 1:52.89, which broke the record of 2:01.12 set by Philip Hagen, Ferdinand Arnold, Shannon Botelho and Jesse Washington back in 2013,
The Sharks Swim Club team of Logan Watson-Brown, Jaedyn Judd, Skyler Powell and Gabriela Pitman set a new Girls 15 & Over 200m Medley Relay Record when they touched the wall in a time of 2:10.83, breaking Rebecca Sharpe, Lara Loescher, Eleanor Gardner and Nicole Yearwood set back on 2:12.58
Bella Howes, Daria Desmond, Imojen Judd and Adrianna Argent would just miss out on the 11-12 Girls 200m Medley Relay Record of 2:20.28 set by Jessica Bruton, Elan Daley, Watson-Brown and Mia Ferguson when they clocked 2:20.45.
In the Boys 15 & Over 200 SC Meter Backstroke Final, Jack Harvey had an amazing swim when he was clocked at 2:09.88, which broke Jason Mastalir’s time of 2:11.51 he set back on November 10th, 2007.
