Elijah Daley competed in the 2019 Spring Ontario Youth-Junior Championships winning 2 Medals and breaking 3 Bermuda Boy’s 11-12 Age Group Records.
The Championships took place at the Markham Pan Am Long Course Pool.
Daley would win the 200m Butterfly Silver Medal when he was clocked at 2:26.05, he would shatter his own record time of 2:40.40 he set back on May 14th 2017 during the NYAC Performance Meet in Canada.
Daley would capture the 100m Butterfly Bronze Medal when he touched the wall in a time of 1:05.55, this time would break Jesse Washington’s record time of 1:06.32 he set on April 16th, 2012 during the XXVII Carifta Swimming Championships in Nassau, Bahamas.
Daley would also compete in the 100m Backstroke Final finishing 7th with a time of 1:09.48, breaking Nicolas Brando’s time of 1:11.07 on June 8th 2014 during the Validus Bermuda National Championships at the National Sports Center.
During the Preliminaries, Daley would finish 31st in the 50m Freestyle clocking a time of 28.97, he would finish 30th in the 100m Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:03.28.
Daley would finish 25th in the 200m Freestyle clocking a time of 2:17.35, Daley would conclude finishing 21st in the 200m Individual Medley clocking 2:35.80.
