Élan Daley was back to her best competing in the North York Aquatic Club Cup in Canada.
Daley competed in Nine 12 Year Old Age Group Events standing on the Podium all 9 times, she set 6 new Bermuda Records and had 7 Personal Best.
Her first Gold Medal and Bermuda Record came during the 800m Freestyle, where she was clocked at 9:33.70, breaking Taylor White’s record set on march 18th, 2017 during the Best of Best #3 Meet.
Daley would also set a new Bermuda Record in the 400m Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 4:35.85 breaking a 10-year-old record of 4:45.98 set by Ashley Yearwood back on June 23rd, 2007 at a BASA Meet.
Daley would lower her own Bermuda Record in the 50m Freestyle clocking 26.44, breaking the record, she set February 18th, 2017 during the Swim Ontario Winter Festival in Canada where she clocked 26.52.
She would also lower her own Bermuda Record in the 200m Backstroke, the previous record stood at 2:29.82, she set that during the Ontario Summer Festival in Canada on June 16th, 2016, she would be clocked at 2:21.97.
Clocking 5:12.47 would lower her Bermuda Record in the 400m Medley, breaking her record time of 5:23.92 which was set on Youth Cup in Canada on December 2nd, 2016.
The final Bermuda Record set came during the 50m Butterfly, where she was clocked in 29.00, lowering her record time of 29.49 set on December 17th, 2016 during the Ontario Junior International meet in Canada.
Daley set a Personal Best time on her way to winning the 50m Backstroke in a time of 31.10, she would also win the 200m Medley touching the wall in a time of 2:24.30 and the 100m Breaststroke clocking 1:16.22.
