The final day of the 27th Annual Speedo Winter Championships, saw the Warwick Academy swimmers back in action in Plantation, Florida.
Only One Medal was won on the Final Day as the Warwick Academy team finished 18th out of 40 teams in the Team Standings with 213 points.
FINALS
Logan Watson Brown won the 13-14 Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle Silver Medal touching the wall in a time of 24.42.
Keagan Wooley finished 10th during the 13-14 Men’s 50 Yard Freestyle clocking 23.37, Skyler Powell finished 10th competing in the 15-16 Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle clocking a time of 25.55. With a time of 21.70 Jesse Washington finished 9th during the Men’s 50 Yard Freestyle
PRELIMINARIES
During the 13-14 Men’s 200 Yard IM Sam Williamson finished 18th touching the wall in a time of 2:12.04, Logan Watson Brown advanced to the 13-14 Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle when she finished 5th clocking a time of 24.80, Gabriela Pitman was 19th clocking a time of 25.73.
Keagan Woolley finished the 13-14 Men’s 50 Yard Freestyle in 11th place with a time of 23.22, while Williamson was clocked at 24.02 finishing 20th, while Jack Harvey finished 55th with a time of 25.32.
Taylor White finished 9th in the 13-14 Women’s 500 Yard Freestyle when she was clocked at 5:19.78, while Watson Brown finished 14th clocking 5:25.90. Touching the wall in a time of 4:58.61 saw Brian Desmond finish the 13-14 Men’s 500 Yard Freestyle in 6th, with Harvey finishing 21st clocking a time of 5:17.50 during the 13-14 Men’s 500 Yard Freestyle, Woolley finished 35th clocking 5:40.70.
Skyler Powell was clocked at 5:22.34 during the 15-16 Women’s 500 Yard Freestyle to finish 7th. During the Men 500 Yard Freestyle Jesse Washington recorded a time of 4:51.72 to finish in 7th place.
Skyler Powell finished 11th during the 15-16 Women’s 200 Yard IM touching the wall in a time of 2:19.02, Powell would also finish 11th this time during the 15-16 Women 50 Yard Freestyle clocking a time of 25.52.
Jesse Washington advanced to the Men 50 Yard Freestyle final after recording the fastest qualifying time of 20.80.
