Warwick Academy Students moved their Medal count to 6 at the conclusion of the Second Day of the 27th Annual Speedo Winter Championships hosted by the Plantation Swim Team in Florida.
A Gold Medal was won during the 13-14 Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle as Logan Watson-Brown clocked a winning time of 52.24.
Jesse Washington captured the Men’s 100 Yard Freestyle Silver Medal when he touched the wall in a time of 45.73. Sam Williamson won the Silver Medal during the 13-14 Men’s 200 Yard Breaststroke when he was clocked at 2:17.48.
Watson Brown won the Bronze Medal when she finished 3rd in the 13-14 Women 50 Yard Butterfly clocking a time of 26.52.
Jack Harvey and Brian Desmond competed in the 13-14 Men’s 200 Yard Backstroke Final, Harvey finished 8th clocking 2:07.23, with Desmond 9th clocking 2:08.02. Keagan Woolley finished 10th during the 13-14 Men 100 Yard Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 51.01.
Woolley finished 4th with a time of 2:23.72 during the 13-14 Men’s 200 Yard Breaststroke.
Preliminaries
Skyler Powell finished 17th in the 15-16 Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 55.50, while Zebedee Wakely finished 31st with a time of 51.54 during the 15-16 Men’s 100 Yard Freestyle.
During the 13-14 Women 200 Yard Backstroke Taylor White finished 16th after recording a time of 2:17.84, White would then finish 38th during the 13-14 Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle after clocking a time of 58.26.
Desmond clocked a time of 51.60 finishing 13th during the 13-14 Men’s 100 Yard Freestyle, Williamson finished 22nd clocking 52.19, while Harvey finished 55th clocking a time of 55.85.
Gabriela Pitman finished 33rd competing in the 13-14 Women’s 100 Yard IM clocking a time of 1:07.34.
