Elijah Daley is following in the footsteps of his brother and sister as he broke four Bermuda Boys 9-10 Age Group National Records while competing in the Canadian Age Group International Long Course Championships.
Daley competed in eight different events and claimed on Bronze Medal along the way.
Daley finished 19th competing in the Boys 50m Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 30.14. With a time of 1:06.49 saw Daley finish the Boys 100m Freestyle 16th overall.
Daley’s first record breaking performance came during the Boys 200m Freestyle clocking a record breaking time of 2:20.49 on his way to finishing 6th.
During the Boys 400m Freestyle, Daley clocked a time of 5:00.74, a new Boys record was established during the Boys 1500m Freestyle when Daley was clocked at 19:47.28.
A new Boys 100m Butterfly record was established when Daley was clocked at 1:10.99 during the Boys 50m Butterfly that saw him place 4th.
The Boys 50m Butterfly brought Daley his Bronze Medal when he touched the wall in a time of 31.84, and his final event was another record breaking performance during the Boys 200m Medley when he was clocked across the line in a time of 2:37.49.
