Gulliver Swim Club announced that Lisa Blackburn has joined as a Senior Assistant Coach.
Blackburn joins Gulliver from the South Florida Aquatic Club, where she was a professional swimmer training for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Prior to moving to South Florida, Blackburn coached and held the position of Junior Group Coach and Team Coordinator of the Waterloo Swim Club where she developed and mentored swimmers ages 5-13.
Blackburn said, “It's been a busy few weeks moving down to Miami and getting settled for my new coaching job at Gulliver Swim Club and Gulliver Preparatory School.”
Blackburn continued, “I am thrilled... to be working for a swim team and school that prides itself in excellence both in and out of the pool. I am looking forward to sharing my swimming experiences with the team and I hope to contribute to the reputation of excellence that Gulliver is known for.”
“I am very grateful for this amazing opportunity,” concluded Blackburn.
