The Final of the Bermuda Match Play Championships concluded at Port Royal Golf Course. The Men’s Champion was Jarryd Dillas who managed to defend his title by defeating Damian Palanyandi on the 18th hole.
Dillas had advanced to the final after defeating Adam Perry 3 & 1 in the Semi-Finals, while Palanyandi defeated Jevon Roberts on the 20th hole in the other Semi-Final.
In the Ladies Championship Division, former Match Play Champion, Ebonie Cox defeated her opponent Tracy Burgess to become the Ladies Champion.
Cox would defeat the defending champion Kim Botelho in their Semi-Final battle 5 & 3, while Burgess edged Alisa Sadeh in the other Semi-Final 2 & 1.
In the Senior Men’s Championship Division, Steven Perry showed some consistent form and worked his way to a victory by defeating Geoff Piggott 1 Up in a tightly contested final match.
Perry needed a 19th hole to defeat Barry Brewer in their Semi-Final, while Piggott won 2 & 1 over Christopher Phillips in the other Semi-Final.
