Sixty-Eight-year-old Jeffrey Lindo turned back the hands of time, by being in the winning Trio with Chaka DeSilva, and OJ Pitcher becoming the oldest winner of a Bermuda PGA Monthly Medal at the Five Forts Golf Club.
DeSilva & Pitcher both have had previous experience on the St. George’s layout that contains many of the former routings that can be considered hometown players.
Years from now Jeffrey Lindo will be telling the story of riding his bike to St. George’s to claim the first victory of the year & lead the BPGA points standings.
A total of 17 players took to the course for the first Bermuda PGA Monthly Medal event of 2022, with Lindo, DeSilva, and Pitcher all carding rounds of 4-over par 66, Dwayne Pearman finished two strokes back.
