Premier David Burt tweeted the photos of the Presentation that Local Media was not allowed to cover due to the presentation held inside the Port Royal clubhouse.
Local Media credentials allowed access to certain areas of the Port Royal Golf Course, however, when it came to the presentation, local media was told the presentation would be held inside and that the local media credentials did not allow for entry.
Premier Burt tweeted, “As the 2021 Bermuda Championship comes to a close, I thank the sponsors, volunteers, local & visiting staff & the fans who came out to support. The last 4 days at the Port Royal Golf Course have been spectacular & congrats to Lucas Herbert on being crowned champion.”
Premier Burt also tweeted, “Enjoyed watching my constituent Brian Morris & all of the Bermudians competing in this year's PGA Bermuda Championship. It was inspiring to see Brian fulfilling his dream of playing on the PGA tour & I congratulate him & all the Bermudian golfers who represented Flag of Bermuda this year”
