Elizabeth Parsons Will Not Defend her Title

A new Male and Female Champion will be crowned as the 2019 Bermuda Amateur Stroke Play Championships gets underway tomorrow at Port Royal Golf Course.
Unfortunately, the defending champions, Will Haddrell and Elizabeth Parsons will not be playing, but there is a very strong field of players that will be vying to become the new Stroke Play Champions.
In Round 1 only the Championship players will be taking part and on Saturday and Sunday the Men’s First Flight will also be participating.
On the Ladies side, Tariqah Walikraam will look to continue her form, while Laura Robinson and Tracy Burgess will be looking to pounce in she stumbles at any point.
Walker Campbell will be looking to keep Jarryd Dillas hands off the Trophy, in the Men’s Open Division, but you still have others in the field who would be waiting in the wings as well.
