The 2016 Optimist International Golf Championships will get underway July 20th - 25th for the 12-13 Age Group Division and the July 30th - August 4th for the 16-18 Age Group Division.
The Tournaments will take place at the PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Twelve year old Kenny Leseur fresh off his preformance in the British Junior Open will compete in the Boys 12-13 Age Group Division.
Mikus Ming the Bermuda 2015 and 2016 Junior National Champion and Dakota Lamb the Bermuda 2016 Junior National Champion Medalist and runner up will compete in the Boys 16-18 Age Group Division.
Elizabeth Parsons was selected for the Girls 15-18 Age Group Division but was not able to go due to a scheduling conflict.
This will be Ming's first time at the Optimist International Golf Championships, while both Lamb and Leseur competed last year.
