Award's will be announced Tuesday through Friday for different Age Groups, Tuesday’s will be Under 11, Wednesday’s will see the Under 14 Division, while on Thursday’s will be the Under 17 Division and then on Friday will feature the Senior League.
Below is the Criteria for each Award:
Team Spirit Award: This Team has exhibited great sportsmanship during the season; they are considerate of teammates, competitors and umpires both on the court and on the bench. They are quick to get up if they fall and they continue to play whether they are winning or losing.
Most Consistent Defensive Player: This player defends consistently throughout the game and continuously gives her all, ensuring that the opposing team is limited in their scoring opportunities. She gives her opponents minimal room to move with good defensive footwork. Her presence on the court defensively would be missed if she was not playing which is supported by the amount of interceptions and/or assists in interceptions.
Most Consistent Attacking Player: This players attacking movements consistently keep her ahead of her defensive partners by technically utilizing speed, sharp movements and footwork. In addition, her passes are consistently accurate in the attacking third, midcourt and when feeding the circle. If she was missing from the team her presence would surely be missed.
MVP: This person has been the most outstanding player in the League, displaying the best netball skills. She is a positive and committed player who displays outstanding Leadership Skills. She thinks the game through and has consistently played phenomenally this netball season. Her efforts have been an enormous contributing factor to her team wins.
