The Bernard Park was the scene of a Bermuda Netball Association Senior League Make Up Triple Header.
The Storm Thunder and Lindos Tigers were still flying high from their victories on Saturday as they dominated their games respectively.
The Storm Thunder defeated Robin Hood 61 – 22, the Storm Thunder were led to victory by Kaamilah Nasir who scored 35 goals, MVP Selah Tuzo added 19 goals and Nabiilah Nasir scored 7 times, while Jess Arneil scored 13 goals for Robin Hood, while Charlie Bridgman added 9 goals, Naomi Taylor was named the Robin Hood MVP.
The Lindos Tigers defeated the Storm Lightning 52 – 16. The Lindos Tigers got 23 goals from MVP Jakenya Trott, while Demiqua Daniels added 19 goals and Charlene Gomez scored 10 times. Sonja Townsend scored 7 goals for the Storm Lightning, with MVP Jay Lynn Hines adding 5 goals and Amaiah Butterfield scored 4 times.
The Phoenix Heat edged the North Village Lady Rams 34 – 33. This was most definitely the game of the night, the score see sawed between the two teams all night long. The intensity was high and the victory was always going to go to the team with the least amount of mistakes. The last 2 minutes of the game saw the North Village Lady Rams have 3 clear chances to tie the match but the Phoenix Heat never give up attitude allowed them to come out victorious. MVP Dominique Richardson led the Phoenix Heat to victory with 22 goals, Arkeita Smith added 9 goals and Chelsea Somner scored 3 times. Jahtuere Trott scored 22 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, while Nikita Trott added 12 goals, Anna Bruce Smith was named the North Village Lady rams MVP.
