In the Final which saw the drivers complete 16 laps, Barnes finished second clocking a time of 20:17.070, he finished behind Joe Ruch who clocked a winning time of 20:10.092.

Barnes would finish the three-day racing with 1 win in the Final, he would also finish second twice in Finals. The result saw Barnes finish 2nd overall.

Barnes said, "I finished off the weekend with another 2nd place, I made a change before the pre-final and found some speed, I was leading at lap 5 of 10 when my carburetor broke and had to retire from the race.

I had to start in the back in the final and wasnít able to get to Ruch to try to challenge for the win."
