Scott Barnes concluded competing in the SuperKarts USA Super Nationals in Las Vegas.
Barnes advanced to Super Sunday in the G1/G2::3G Kart Racing/AiM Sports Class.
Barnes finished 6th in a very close finish that could have seen anyone of the places 3rd – 7th change in the end.
Barnes said, “I was so close to the podium, finished 6th on the bumper of 3rd/4th/5th place karts podium spots, if there was just one more lap!”
“I beat last years winner of this class but came up just short of the podium, it was great being back racing at the top national level, I will definitely be back next year,” continued Barnes.
Barnes concluded, “I had a great week on track, 3 top 9 finishes coming from 12th starting spot, no DNF’s, was able to learn this new motor fast and by the weekend I had the speed and lap times to run for a podium spot.”
