The 2021 Optimist North American Championships continued on the waters in Mexico, with the Bermuda sailors competing in Team racing.
In Round One the Bermuda 1 Team took on Bahamas in their opening race and went down, while the Bermuda 2 Team defeated the US Virgin Islands.
Round Two saw the Bermuda 1 Team advance with a bye, while the Bermuda 2 Team went down to the USA 2 Team.
The Bermuda 2 Team would defeat the Mexico 2 Team in the Round 3, while the Bermuda 1 Team were defeated by the Bahamas 1 Team.
The Bermuda 2 Team would advance to face the Mexico 1 Team in the Quarter Final, but unfortunately went down.
