The Coral Reef Yacht Club Orange Bowl International Youth Sailing Regatta got underway in Florida, with Trystan Hocking out of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club competing in the 75 competitors Optimist Fleet.
Three races were sailed on Day One, with Hocking coming off the water in 51st place overall, with 73 points.
Pierce Olsen from the United States of America is the Day One Leader of the Fleet with 3 points, Fynn Olsen also from the United States is in second with 9 points and Roger Casellas from Puerto Rico is in third with 10 points.
Hocking is in 14th place in the Yellow Fleet, Hocking finished 24th in the first race, before finishing 21st in the second race, before closing out with a 28th place finish in the third race.
