The Hempel World Cup Series 2020 in Miami continued with both Benn Smith and Rockal Evans looking to advance to the Olympics.
Evans in the Finn Class needs to beat the two Mexican sailors to claim the one Americas spot up for grabs and after four races he has fallen behind one of them.
On Day Two and two more races Evans is now in 9th place with 23 Net Points, Evans finished the first race of the day in 8th, but he would then finish 10th in the second race, he would drop the 10th place finish to add to his Day One score. Juan Perez Soltero from Mexico is currently in 7th with 21 Net Points, while Alejandro Perez the other Mexican is 12th with 38 Net Points.
Smith remains in 11th place after two more races on the day in the Laser Class to take the total to four races sailed.
Smith now has 36 Net Points, he finished the First Race in 8th place his best finish thus far in the regatta, he would then finish 18th in the second race.
