A total of 8 young sailors continued flying the Bermuda Flag at the CORK International Optimist Regatta 2019 in Canada.
Magnus Ringsted, Christian Ebbin, Rachael Betschart, Pj Rodrigues, Amelia Lewis, Sophia Dias, Laura Hupman, Ethan Thompson have all begun competing.
Ebbin Shares the overall lead after winning all three races on the day in the Red Fleet and following his win on Day One he has 4 points and is tied with Gil Hackel from the USA who has four wins in the Blue Fleet.
Ringsted is 3rd in the Red Fleet and 4th overall with 10 Points, this after recording finishes of 2nd, 4th and 3rd in the three races.
Rodrigues is currently in 9th place overall with 20 points, this after finishes of 6th, 5th and 2nd, while Betschart is 17th after finishes of 7th, 6th and 11th and she has 27 points.
Holding down the 22nd place is Thompson with 34 points, while Lewis has 38 points and is in 24th place.
Hupman is 29th with 49 points and Dias rounds out the Bermuda Fleet and is in 41st place with 62 points.
