Etchells World Championships Day 2 Round Up

Two Bermuda boats flying the Bermuda Flag continued competing in the Etchells World Championships going on in San Francisco.

Two races were held on Day Two.

Tiburon sailed by Dirk Kneulman alongside Grant Simmer and Mark Strube fell from their Day One lead in the 51 boat Fleet.

Kneulman will go into the third day 10 points behind new leader Senet Bischoff from the United States of America.

The American has 28 points, while Kneulman who is in third place has 38 points.

He finished 8th in the first race of the day and the third of the Series before finishing the second race in 21st place.

Tim Patton sailing Thrash along with Campbell Patton and Stuart Priestly moved off the bottom of the table to end the day in 43rd with 166 points.

Patton recorded his best finish of the Regatta in the first race of the day crossing the line in 30th, before closing out the day with a 41st place finish.
