Bermuda Boat Leads Etchells World Championships

Two Bermuda boats have entered the Etchells World Championships going on in San Francisco.

Two races were held on Day One with Bermuda Boats at each end of the table.

Tiburon sailed by Dirk Kneulman alongside Grant Simmer and Mark Strube lead the 51 boat Fleet.

Kneulman will go into the second day with a 2 point lead as he finished the day with 9 points.

He finished 8th in the first race of the day before winning the second race.

Tim Patton sailing Thrash along with Campbell Patton and Stuart Priestly are at the opposite end of the table in 51st.

They have 95 points after finishes of 48th and 47th on Day One.
